Ooty: The undisputed 'Queen of Hill Stations,' where nostalgic toy trains wind through the rolling tea gardens of the Blue Mountains.

Officially known as Udhagamandalam, Ooty is the crown jewel of the Nilgiri Hills, famously known as the "Queen of Hill Stations." Once the summer capital of the Madras Presidency, it retains a strong colonial charm with its heritage bungalows and the meticulously maintained Government Botanical Garden. The town is surrounded by sprawling tea estates and unique eucalyptus forests that give the "Blue Mountains" their signature misty haze. A highlight of any visit is riding the UNESCO-listed Nilgiri Mountain Railway, a historic toy train that winds through breathtaking valleys. Visitors can also take in panoramic views from Doddabetta Peak or enjoy a quiet afternoon boating on Ooty Lake, making it a quintessential mountain retreat.

Morning
* Arrive in Coonoor and visit the beautiful Sims Park, known for its landscaped gardens and exotic plant varieties.
* Check into the hotel and freshen up.

Toy Train Experience
* Enjoy the scenic Nilgiri Mountain Railway toy train ride from Coonoor to Ooty, passing through tunnels, forests, and rolling hills.

Tea & Chocolate Trail
* Visit a tea plantation and learn about the region's famous tea-growing heritage.
* Explore local tea and chocolate factories and shop for fresh handmade products.

Evening
* Free time to explore the local surroundings.
* Dinner at the hotel.

* Wake up early and enjoy breakfast.
* Check out from the hotel and get ready for the day's exploration.

Doddabetta Peak
* Visit the highest peak in the Nilgiris and enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding hills and valleys.

Pine Forest & Lake
* Explore the famous Pine Forest known for its cinematic landscapes.
* Visit the nearby lake and enjoy the serene natural surroundings.

9th Mile Shooting Point
* Stop at one of Ooty's most scenic viewpoints, offering vast grasslands and breathtaking valley views.

Pykara Waterfalls (Optional)
* Visit Pykara Waterfalls if time permits.

Return Journey
* Begin the return journey to Bangalore.
* Reach Bangalore by approximately 2:00 AM – 3:00 AM on Monday morning.

Cancellation Policy

-If you cancel before 7 days - 100% of amount will be refunded
-If you cancel between 3-6 days - 50 % of amount will be refunded
-If you cancel between 1-3 days - 25 % of amount will be refunded
-If you cancel between 4-24 hours - 10 % of amount will be refunded
**Note: Partial payments are not refundable
Terms & Conditions

-In case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain trips or activities may get cancelled. In such cases, we will try our best to provide an alternative feasible solution. However, a refund will not be applicable for the same.
-Cancellations are strictly subjected to cancellation policies mentioned & are irrespective of the date of booking.
-Ticket once rescheduled becomes non-refundable.
-The food provided will be basic Vegetarian food.
-Life On Wheels Travel shall not be responsible for any of your belongings, valuables, jewelry, etc.
-We expect every participant to be responsible for littering. Please keep every place we visit clean.
-You agree to indemnify yourself for the risks involved in the outings varying from destinations to destinations.
-We have designated pick up and drop points, make your own arrangements of transports to the desired pick-up point accordingly.
-We may revise the Terms and Conditions from time to time by updating this posting. The revised terms will take effect when they are posted.
-Life On Wheels Travel Trek is not responsible if any injuries or accidents occur during the event.
-Any client consuming alcohol, misbehaving, causing delay during the event will be terminated from the event without any prior warning and no refund will be given. Such clients should arrange their own transport to the way back, Life On Wheels Travel does not hold the responsibility of terminated clients.
-Littering, smoking & consumption of alcohol is banned outdoors or anytime during the trek. We will provide you with a time and place to enjoy your drinks.
-If we cancel the event, we offer a full refund to all the participants.
-Life On Wheels Travel engages third-party vendors to deliver services such as travel, accommodation, and food. The quality of these services is dependent on the respective vendors. In the event of any issues related to the quality of service or a failure to provide the service, the respective vendor shall be solely responsible. Customers or concerned parties may contact the respective vendor directly to address such matters.
-We recommend that you arrive at least 20 minutes prior at the venue.
-Rights of admission reserved.

The average level of fitness is required to participate in the trek. We will not be responsible if any participant is unable to get to the summit due to their own limitations.
